The Bloomington Symphony Orchestra’s upcoming Childrens’ Concert, titled “Grunts, Squawks, ‘n’ Roars! Animals in Music” features Charles Latshaw as vocalist and narrator in the world premiere of a new orchestration of Philip Wharton’s “The Perfect Pig.”
“The Perfect Pig,” based upon a story by Janet Burroway, tells the tale of a young pig with personal-image issues, who seeks fashion advice from his animal friends. The performance also includes illustrations by Julie Rooney and is guest conducted by Eric Isaacson.
